Skin Care Borghese

Review on: Borghese - Fluido Protettivo Advanced Spa Lift for Eyes

ANOTHER HOLY GRAIL item for my skin care.

With this product a little goes a long way… I will shamefully admit that I WAS
an epidermis ABUSER. I slept MANY nights with my THICK, industrial strength THEATRE grade concealer on; which SHOCKER resulted in a dry flakey even DARKER under eye area! Grrr! Buut Fluido to the rescue! In a matter of days it moisturized the under eye area making a HUGE difference. I use it daily and it works well under makeup.

Pros: a little goes a long way.
Cons: the PRICE! :(
Review on: Borghese - Fango

BEST MUD TREATMENT EVER!

I worked for Borghese, and I fell in love with MANY of their skin care products but this is one for the HOLY GRAIL list. Be sure to apply a somewhat thick layer but not too thick. Now remember that this is a MUD mask NOT a clay mask, SO YOU SHOULD NOT LET IT DRY! If you let it dry you are taking OUT the nutrients you just put IN. I leave it on for roughly 5 minutes, and then remove it with a damp towel. You may feel a tingle so don’t be alarmed. I would have many customers try to return the item, but after telling them to only leave it on for about 5 minutes they would comeback and tell me how much they loved it! You can also use Fango for the body especially for soft touchable summer legs. I use the original formula (the green/brown mud looking one) but they also have a formula for sensitive skin; which I did not try. I get many compliments on my skin and only wear foundation during the weekend, because after using this bad boy once a week who would need to cover their face? ;)

Pros: RESULTS!
Cons: make sure to open your box and check that the glass jar is not broken. Sometimes this happens because of movement during shipment. Also make sure to keep the lid sealed tight when not in use, the product will dry up.
Review on: Borghese - botanico eye compresses

When it comes to skincare I adore Borghese and these little miracle workers are NO exception. You can TOTALLY tell the difference. My eyes felt refreshed moisturized and soft immediately after using them. It’s a great pick me up after a rough day.

Pros: great feeling, not too messy
Cons: PRICE. They're always sold out. There are only TWO Borghese counters in Northern California.
Review on: Borghese - fango active mud for face and body
This mud mask is quick and easy. It only takes five minutes but feels like a spa experience. The only drawback might be for people who don't like the tight feeling. But I could feel the impurities being pulled out of my face and it left a healthy glow the next morning.

this is by far my favorite mud treatment. it feels absolutely decadent to use, and actually tightens my skin and reduces oil production for days. the scent is wonderful, and it has a very very smooth, buttery texture.

Review on: Borghese - botanico eye compresses
these compresses have an interesting green/fresh/medicinal smell to them. they had just the right amount of solution in them, and felt incredibly soothing and cooling. i thought that they were rather small compared to other eye compresses. i had to move them around a bit to make the most of them. they barely covered from one corner of my eye to the other. i would have preferred a crescent shape to go under my eyes, or a larger pad to cover the entire area. the jar has an inner lid to preserve moisture and keep everything neat. im not sure that i saw much of a decrease in puffiness, and this product certianly doesnt "virtually reverse signs of aging on surface skin" as the jar claims it will. these are a decadent treat, but i didnt see any sort of result that would justify repurchasing. of course, YMMV, but i feel that i could have the same results with a cotton pad soaked in witch hazel and essential oils.
